Accommodation at Hayling Island Sailing Club

Hayling Island Sailing Club has wide range of facilities including different types of on-site accommodation. There is a restaurant, snack bar, two drinks bars, chandlery shop, covered workshop, large showers, training rooms, rest areas and a magnificent balcony with spectacular views over Chichester harbour and the South Downs National Park.
During a weeklong sailing event it is quite possible to never leave the club!

We have reserved the on-site accommodation for the use of Tasar worlds competitors.

Details of the types of rooms are here including pictures and prices.

The Hayling Island Sailing Club office will now take bookings on a first come first served basis for the on-site accommodation.
They also have lists of alternative accommodation off site. Such as; Hotels, Bed and Breakfast, holiday homes and flats, Caravan parks and camp sites. Hayling Island is a popular holiday destination so there is plenty of accommodation locally. Please contact the club office directly to obtain further information.

The Club has already taken fees for the 2019 World Championships on-site accommodation. A prompt enquiry will secure a place for you and your crew!

Since we first started planning the worlds event there has been some changes to the local bylaws regarding motorhomes and campervans on Hayling Island. The new byelaw says campervans up to 5.5metres and commercial vehicles up to 6m are allowed to park on the club site. Larger vans are only allowed to deliver boats. Nobody is allowed to overnight on site in a vehicle, tent or caravan.
The nearest camp site is Fishery Creek, which is where people stayed in 2018 for the UK Nationals. Other campsites are available and can be searched on google thus. The dates are in the UK school holidays, so booking is a good idea. Official Camper information from the club is here

There is a full portfolio of pictures including the ones above here.

If you have any other questions about accommodation then please contact the Tasar UK association and we will try to help.
